Paving, curbs, and sidewalks — 2070 Construction, Metro Atlanta
Paving, curbs, and sidewalks Metro Atlanta

2070 Construction delivers paving and site concrete as part of the full horizontal scope on development projects. Our paving work is for residential subdivisions, townhome communities, build-to-rent developments, and commercial sites — not driveways, parking-lot patching, or small residential paving. We typically deliver paving alongside the earthwork, utilities, and stormwater scope under one contract.

The paving and site concrete scope

  • Curb and gutterCast-in-place and extruded curb and gutter along roadways, parking, and site perimeters.
  • SidewalksPoured-in-place concrete sidewalks to ADA standards and jurisdictional spec.
  • Drive aprons and entrancesConcrete or asphalt aprons where subdivision or commercial drives meet the public right of way.
  • Site concrete flatworkConcrete pads, equipment pads, and utility area flatwork as part of a full site package.
  • Striping and signageFinal parking lot striping, crosswalk markings, and required site signage at project closeout.

Paving is the last scope before pad ready

Paving sits near the end of the horizontal scope sequence. By the time paving starts, the utilities are in, the stormwater structures are built, and the final grade is set. If anything upstream is wrong, paving is where it shows up — a low spot where a catch basin was set, a curb that does not meet an inlet, a sidewalk that does not match the drive apron elevation. 2070 Construction delivers paving as part of the full horizontal scope, which means the same team that set the grade, installed the utilities, and placed the inlets is also placing the curb. The coordination problems that create paving rework are problems we have already solved upstream.

Questions

Do you only do paving, or does it have to be part of a larger scope?

We deliver paving as part of a full horizontal scope on development projects. We do not take standalone paving jobs, parking-lot patching, or small commercial overlays. If you need a paving-only contractor, we are not the right fit.

Do you handle subdivision roads to county spec?

Yes. Residential subdivision roads, including graded subgrade, aggregate base, asphalt base course, and surface course, all to jurisdictional specification.

Do you do commercial parking lots?

Yes, as part of a commercial pad site scope. Parking lot paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and striping for commercial developments.

Can you do curb and gutter on projects where we use a different paving sub?

Typically we deliver curb, gutter, and flatwork together with paving as a single package. Splitting the scope creates coordination seams that paving jobs do not forgive. If there is a specific reason to split the scope, we will evaluate case by case.

Do you self-perform sidewalks, or subcontract?

We self-perform sidewalk concrete work. Cast-in-place concrete is our core capability, and sidewalks are part of the site concrete scope.
